POTSDAM — 포츠담 고등학교 9학년인 Seth Coates는 2024년 청소년 올림픽이 열리는 대한민국 평창으로 향하는 10대 루지 선수 선발팀에 합류했습니다.
15세의 Coates는 최근 북미 컨티넨탈 컵 시리즈에서 포인트를 모아 미국 팀의 세 남자 자리 중 하나를 획득했습니다. 그는 1월 14일 캐나다 휘슬러에서 열린 레이스에서 6위를 차지한 후 1월 21일 유타주 파크시티에서 5위를 기록했습니다. USA Luge Junior Candidate Team에서 선발된 10명의 선수들이 훈련과 경주를 위해 오늘 출발할 예정이었습니다. 평창청소년올림픽과 아시안컵을 앞두고 시범경기를 치른다.
