위니펙, 매니토바주, 1월 19일 (로이터) – 메리클로드 비비오 캐나다 농림부 장관이 12월 소해면상뇌증(BSE) 진단에 따라 한국이 캐나다산 쇠고기 수입 중단을 해제한다고 수요일 밝혔다.
한국은 캐나다가 6년 만에 처음으로 BSE 사례를 접수한 후 지난달 수출을 중단했다. 중국과 필리핀은 자체적으로 정지 조치를 취했습니다.
Bibeau는 소셜 미디어에 한국의 역전을 발표하면서 “우리 축산업에 좋은 소식”이라고 말했습니다.
BSE는 소의 신경계에 치명적인 질병입니다.
쇠고기와 송아지 고기의 8번째 수출국인 캐나다는 지난 12월 앨버타주에서 8-1/2년령 쇠고기를 상대로 BSE 소송을 제기했다.
캐나다의 최근 사례는 다릅니다. 즉, 오래된 가축에서 자연적으로 발생하는 BSE의 한 형태입니다. 이는 동물이 오염된 사료를 섭취함으로써 발생하는 전형적인 BSE와는 대조적입니다.
